Seasonally appropriate eating means focusing your diet around what’s available from the farm or garden, the focus of Carolyn’s Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook. Carolyn will prepare a dinner inspired by healthy local ingredients, simply and deliciously, with tips on how to put food aside for winter eating.

Carolyn Herriot is a local food activist and farmer, an author and lecturer, inspiring others to grow food and save seeds. For 25 years she ran The Garden Path Centre in Victoria as a teaching garden and for the production of ‘Seeds of Victoria’. She is author of ‘The Zero Mile Diet – A Year-Round Guide to Growing Organic Food ’ and ‘The Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook – Seasonal Recipes for Delicious Homegrown Food’ (Harbour Publishing).

7 days or less, no refund. We are happy to have you send someone else in your place; just let us know who will be attending the cooking class.
If STIR cancels a class a full refund will be given or you can choose to keep your payment as a credit for another class in the future.
