Fall Farm to Table Dinner with Carolyn Herriot

October 17, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Seasonally appropriate eating means focusing your diet around what’s available from the farm or garden, the focus of Carolyn’s Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook. Carolyn will prepare a dinner inspired by healthy local ingredients, simply and deliciously, with tips on how to put food aside for winter eating.

“Real food is not about the ingredients, it is the ingredients!” Jamie Oliver

Once you get a taste for real food there’s no turning back, and this cooking class will inspire you to get started or expand your local cooking repertoire.

This class is vegetarian.

Every class participant will have the chance to win a $30 farm box, fresh from Carolyn’s farm.

Carolyn Herriot is a local food activist and farmer, an author and lecturer, inspiring others to grow food and save seeds. For 25 years she ran The Garden Path Centre in Victoria as a teaching garden and for the production of ‘Seeds of Victoria’. She is author of ‘The Zero Mile Diet – A Year-Round Guide to Growing Organic Food ’ and ‘The Zero-Mile Diet Cookbook – Seasonal Recipes for Delicious Homegrown Food’ (Harbour Publishing).
