We will explore the role of the 6 tastes used to balance the doshas and learn about what tastes combine to make a satisfying meal. Throughout the class we will also discuss healthy eating routines for improved energy and digestion. You will come away with recipes for your body type and some great tips and tricks for maintaining daily energy levels! Menu: a main dish for each of the three doshas as well as a tri-doshic recipe. Simple snack and drink recipes will also be included.

This lecture component of this workshop will run on Sunday June 28th from 8:30am to 11:30am at the Red Door Yoga Studio with Kavita Maharaj, while the cooking class component will run from 12:30pm to 3:30pm at Costin Hall in Lantzville with Kelli Etheridge and Jennifer Leslie of Stir Cooking School.  There is an early-bird deadline for this workshop of June 12th ($99 + GST). After June 12th however, the regular fee of $110 + GST will apply.
