Poke means” to cut” in Hawaiian, simply said chopped fish in a marinade. These delicious tasting bites can be served on a wonton cracker, seaweed salad, rice or on its own as a main course with Asian noodles and lettuce. You can make Poke out of sushi grade raw fish, shrimp, tofu or even cooked chicken.
STIR Cooking School wants to invite you to “stir up your kitchen” with healthy, creative classes for seasoned cooks and rookies.
We believe cooking is a vital skill connecting people to their food sources and each other.
Through hands on classes and demos you will be inspired to get back in the kitchen and cook or expand your existing repertoire.
The cooking classes at STIR will all be based on whole, healthy food. We want to educate and inspire all levels of cooks to prepare their own meals and snacks to improve their health as well as foster connections within their families and the community.
